[Everyone says that memories are precious. Noel does not care much about the past. In the end, the past is the past. It makes no sense to lament over it. Instead, she simply looks to the future in the hopes of creating a decent life for herself. All she cares about is her education and the small amount of money she earns as a Piper, or so she tells herself.
There is more to Noel Niihashi than just school and work. Much more than she is willing to share with Ninny, her reckless partner. Nonetheless, Noel finds herself standing in the middle of the night market, unsure which memory she wants to sell. Should she sell all memories she has of Ninny and Balgo? That would fetch a nice sum, but it would also leave her completely empty.
How about selling all of her memories of Reverse London and Wing Bind? She didn’t care much about the job, but it paid well. Noel pretends not to care about anything, but it appears she does.
