[Akira turns to face a man unimpressed. He hears the merchant's mischief - knows the fortune is his; says:]
No need.
[He knows his future intimately, thank you - Eren himself, stomping the world flat with an army of giants. There's only one big ocean of blood left. His friends will save 20% of humanity. They'll be honored as heroes by the world, and the curse plaguing Eren's race will be definitively ended, all titans purged from the world.
["It might be good, but at least half of it is bad." Yeah. That sounds about right.
[There is something that Eren doesn't know, however - how the final battle will come to pass, and whether all of his friends survive. He never shows how that plagues him. He doesn't want any of them to die at his hand - doesn't want to consider what it would be like to be in that position, nor whether he'd actually follow through.
[Millions will die, crushed under Eren's heel, but no, in the end, none of the friends he has remaining in the world will perish. There is that, at least.]
I'm only here to investigate. I already know my future.
